Métodos en Ecología & Sistemática (MES) is an international journal in the fields of systematics, taxonomy, ecology, conservation biology and the analysis of scientific methods. This journal includes scientific articles, revisions and short communications, as well as supplements and monographs. Submissions are rigorously evaluated by internal and external reviewers and, in the case of the description of new species, the rules and recommendations of the International Codes of Zoological and Botanical Nomenclature are strictly followed.
All submissions must be original work and will be considered providing they have not already been published in another journal, book or website, in whole or in part. Articles can be submitted in SPANISH, PORTUGUESE, FRENCH or ENGLISH.
Publishing in Métodos en Ecología & Sistemática (MES) is free of charge and color images can be included at no additional cost.
